A book I am working on at the moment. I ripped the pages out of an old book and am just using the cover, which has been painted and covered with scraps of fabric and a French postcard that I am particularly fond of. Sitting alone in cafes - been there, done that!
Sometimes glue just doesnt cut it so I use other methods of attaching stuff, like staples.
The inserted pages are all heavy watercolour paper. I painted and crayoned adding fabric and images as I went.
Using altered cabinet cards and old photographs. All the fabric and lace is vintage or antique. I have a vast collection - I hope I never run out of it!
The pages are attached to the book cover with space for more.
The back page shows a little 'inchie' that was featured (along with others) in 'Quilting Arts' magazine.
